An overcast sky on a July evening

Complete with thunder and lightning

Sound of raindrops falling on the window sill

Eyes locked with each other

Fingers wrapped around the coffee mugs

Warmth of your presence around me

Music in the background

My heart longs to step out

Get drenched and jump in the puddles

Dance with you in the rain

I want you to pull me closer and

Kiss me in the rain
