Day 5. Letter 'E'.
The thing is every time I get a friend request on Facebook from someone I do not seem to know; I usually message and ask him/her if I know her. And as much as I get irritated with such random friend requests, the response to the messages keeps me entertained. There is a pattern to these messages; a handful of names in the friend list and English that shall make the language expert shake his head in disbelief.

This is not to offend anyone not knowing the language,
but the point is why can’t you converse in a language you are comfortable in?
Some such samples handpicked by me! J
So...
Ahem...
And...
English is exorcised in these, yes and I do feel bad about it and if you have been really sad all day
today, these may just end up making you laugh!
LOL :D Poor guy, he wanted to be friends with you and you scared him away! :D On a serious note, I have never understood the rationale of befriending random people! And da ones who rite dis way, I simply cant stand dem!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Thats exactly why I do not do Facebook. Too many creeps.
ReplyDeleteCmon Naina someone wants to make friends with you and refuse the poor guy ! How mean is that !
ReplyDeleteI got a message on FB Once that went like -
"you like to travel. I like to Travel. Next time you travel, we travel together"
Seriously !
Quite interesting. It's good to be on guard when requests come from unknown persons. I agree with you.
ReplyDeleteWhy you are not allowing man to be the friends of you, Naina? you must make fraanship with to all the peoples only! ;)
ReplyDeleteFunny
ReplyDeleteReminds me of the famous fraaanship requests from Orkut days. Bad grammar is such a turn-off, but also a guilty pleasure, depending on how you look at it :P
ReplyDeleteU R Veri Funni!
ReplyDeleteYou don't want to make fraandship with men folk. How disappointed the men will be!
ReplyDeleteLOL. very funny read - you poor thing getting bombarded with things like that - block them good!!
ReplyDeletePlanning With Printed Portal
Putting Pen to Paper
LOL :D - nice one!
ReplyDeleteI am sooo lucky. I don't get FB requests like that. Just those e-mail requests saying to give them my bank account # so they can put millions of $$ into it. Could be the same guys who seek friendship of you. haha
ReplyDeleteHappy AtoZ!
Take 25 to Hollister
Don't be a Hippie
awww!! He's so obsessed!! I'm sure you broke his heart!! :P
ReplyDeleteLol! I have a standing rule "If I would take leave from my job to go to your funeral, we can be friends on FB"!
ReplyDeleteThe Good Twin @ thewinetwins.blogspot.com
Ha! I've had that happen via message a few times before. Good luck with the Challenge!
ReplyDeleteYeah I always wonder how on earth these people find me O_O
ReplyDeleteThanks for the laugh! Stopping by from A-Z. New follower :)

So did you make fraaandship with him ?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteCute and the main reason why I don't do Facebook! With fraaans like that :)
ReplyDeleteIt's gotten to the point where, if they have over 400 friends, I figure they are trying to up their friend count!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from A to Z. gail
haha...love this. thanks for the laugh. I totally don't get the "friend requesting" random strangers thing. Personally, I enjoy the emails begging me for help. You'd be amazed at how many people desperately need for me to deposit their million dollars in my bank account. hehe
ReplyDeleteStopping by to say hi from A-Z...new follower...
LOL. You're so popular to have all these people "want to make friendship with you." I usually ignore requests from people I don't know. Once in awhile, if they don't seem nuts, I'll just put them on "Restricted." I never post anything I don't want public anyway.
ReplyDeleteThe A to Z blog said in the latest post to add a link to your own A to Z blog in the comments, so here's mine: kristenhead.blogspot.com
I'm feeling a little cheated. I've never gotten any as cool as these!
ReplyDeleteVisiting you from the A to Z challenge. This was very entertaining. =)

ReplyDeleteI want to make franship with you. You so beauty. :D

Some people send really funny messages and a few creepy ones too. It's good to be cautious.I laughed reading the requests you received :)
ReplyDeleteoh wow Naina, you so popular! Thankfully I haven't got creepy messages to date - conversation ended is a good way to go.
ReplyDeleteI ignore all of this kind of thing, as you can never be sure what is phishing or not. Amusing post. :)
