May Photo A Day : Day 17 : Season

Day 17 prompt for "May Photo A Day Challenge : A challenge that will change your life" is 'Season'.

It is May and it is summer in Delhi. And not just an ordinary summer. A burning, sweltering summer.

Read this proverb on the internet, 'A life without love is like a year without summer'Indeed. It may make you twitch, uncomfortable or make you sweat and ache, but you still want to go through the sweet pain called Love. Likewise, an year may have a white winter or a cozy autumn, it isn't complete without the summer heat. One season paves way for another.

And if you are in cool climes right now, feel the heat through the pictures of the season in my side of the world!

The sun shining bright in the park.

And because of the melting pot temperature outside, afternoons usually look this deserted near my place.

  1. Wonderful clicks... the heat is simply unbearable in the North especially in the afternoons. The entire market, streets have a deserted look. The temp in the afternoons at Jaipur is usually 45-47 degrees C!!

  8. Loved both the pics. The summer here is unbearable. Especially July, August. That is why schools close for vacations here during those months.
