A 'Rainy' haiku





Hopeful eyes look up
Dark cottony clouds hover
Mid day sky marvel





Smell of wet earth soothes
Raindrops looking like crystal
Parched feet long to dance

    Great attempt. I love the first one.
    You really try to create an imagery here.If I may suggest - In the second one, try using just one seasonal reference than both raindrops and wet earth - It will have a greater impact !
